Raleigh Five Hundred Sport Aero Aluminum Frame Set, 700c

You are viewing a used Raleigh Five Hundred Sport Aero Aluminum Frame Set, 700c Wheels, 27.2mm Seat Post. The frame measures 24.25” from the center of the bottom bracket to the top of the seat tube and 22” from the center of the seat tube to the center of the head tube. The frame has seen a lot of use and has several scratches, cable rub and rub from what looks like where a rack was installed. When the previous owner sold this frame to our shop we found a crack on the seat tube by the seat stays. The previous own tried to hide this by painting over the crack but their paint job was less than convincing. This can be seen in the last picture. Because of this crack and the condition of the frame we are recommending the buyer have the frame inspected and repaired if a repair is possible. Because of this recommendation the frame is being sold as is and the buyer takes full responsibility for having the frame inspected and any future repair and use. The left inline barrel adjustment is missing the plastic cover but this does not affect its function. This frame would make a great commuter or bar bike if and when the frame is given a clean bill of health. We are including the headset, stem and seat post collar. See pictures.
